COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland linebacker L.A. Goree discusses the Terps' 41-38 loss to Rutgers Nov. 29. Goree said after playing well in the first half, UMD's defense didn't adjust and failed to execute in the latter frame. The linebacker said RU didn't do much the defense wasn't ready for, but he noted how the Terps failed to generate pressure and allowed quarterback Gary Nova too much time to pick apart the secondary. Goree mentioned that Maryland has to put the defeat behind it quickly, though, since there's a bowl game still left to be played.
