COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland senior defensive lineman Andre Monroe discussed the Terps' 41-38 loss to Rutgers Nov. 29. He said after UMD jumped out to a commanding lead, the Terps failed to put the Scarlet Knights away, letting them "linger around." He mentioned how the Terps were unable to get much of a pass rush going, and it cost them. Monroe, though, did compliment Rutgers' offensive line for protecting quarterback Gary Nova and giving him time to throw. He also said that since Maryland does have another game coming up, the team has to put the loss behind it quickly and get ready for a bowl game.
