COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon discussed the Terps' 95-77 victory against VMI Nov. 30. He lauded the play of freshman point guard Melo Trimble and his backcourt mate, Dion Wiley, who received his first start. He also said that freshman center Michal Cekovsky may have had his best game since he's been in College Park. Turgeon went on to talk up the Terps' defense in the second half and how his team showed poise against a "different kind" of VMI squad.
