COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland junior Jake Layman, senior Richaud Pack and freshman Melo Trimble broke down the Terps' loss to UVA and the 2 p.m. game against Winthrop Dec. 6. The consensus among them was the Terps needed to play better defensively in order to beat a team like Virginia. They also said they're not about to letdown against a mid-major Winthrop squad, and will work to improve and continue to develop as individuals and as a team.
