COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon discussed the Terps' next opponent, North Carolina Central, Dec. 9. He said both Central and the Terps' Dec. 13 opponent, USC Upstate, can't be overlooked, especially with all the upsets of late in college basketball. Turgeon also gave his thoughts on moving up in the national polls despite losing to UVA last week. Turgeon updated the statuses of Dez Wells and Evan Smotrycz as well.
