COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Randy Edsall addressed the media Dec. 17 before the Terps head West for the Foster Farms Bowl Dec. 30 against Stanford. Edsall called the matchup in the San Francisco 49ers' Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., a "great opportunity" and a "tremendous challenge" for the UMD program. He broke down the potent Stanford defense and power offense, and how the Terps are preparing for the Cardinal. Edsall talked big picture as well, saying the UMD program has made strides and is progressing. He went on to say that health-wise the Terps are in good shape and should be at full strength come Dec. 30, aside from those players who were already out for the year. Edsall also lauded Cole Farrand, Brad Craddock, Stefon Diggs and other individual Terps.
