COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon discussed his team's 70-58 win against Minnesota Jan. 3 at the Xfinity Center. Turgeon said he thought his team played hard and its defense and rebounding have come on in a big way. He went on to laud Damonte Dodd's and Jon Graham's energy, along with UMD's ball movement, spacing and flow. Turgeon did mention that the Terps' let down at the end of the first half, but he was proud of how they picked up the pace in the second half. He praised the home crowd as well, calling the Xfinity Center a "fun environment."
