COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon addressed the media Feb. 18 ahead of the Terps' Feb. 19 7 p.m. game against Nebraska. Turgeon touched on the Penn State road victory and how the team has to do a better job protecting a 13-point lead, although he was proud how his team gutted it out. He discussed where his team currently stands and how it can't overlook Nebraska. Turgeon went on to talk about Dez Wells' improvement, Jake Layman's recent surge defensively and with rebounding, and Richaud Pack's struggles offensively. He also said Ivan Bender won't be cleared for another two to three weeks.
