COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Randy Edsall addressed the media March 30. He first touched on the March 28 scrimmage and what he took away from that after evaluating the film. Edsall said Jacquille Veii and Brandon Ross have been running the ball well, while he praised Jermaine Carter's, Sean Davis' and others' progress as well. He mentioned how the linebackers in general, though, need to play at a faster pace in terms of pursuing the ball. Edsall also noted how Derwin Gray needs to be more aggressive. Moreover, there are six players, including Caleb Rowe, Quinton Jefferson, Alvin Hill, and others received medical redshirts.
