St. John's College High School's (Washington, DC) A.J. Lee is a stellar baseball player and an even better athlete.

This highly-recruited RHP/SS led St. John's to back-to-back WCAC Championships for the first time in more than 30 years.

Lee is a well-built, 6-1, 175-pounder who led the Johnnies in almost every offensive category including runs scored, RBI's, triples, on-base % and an OPS of 1.092.

Some of Lee's other outstanding numbers include a batting average of .388, as well as 34 runs, 22 BB, 16 SB, 22 RBI's, and an OBP OF .527. In the field, Lee committed only two errors with a .973 fielding percentage.

Lee's pitching numbers may be even more impressive. He was 7-0 with nine starts, a 0.43 ERA, including 49 IP, 17BB, 58K's, and with a 0.73 WHIP, which is outstanding.

Normally, we don't fill an evaluation with statistics, but Lee is a tremendous player who should be recognized for those, too.

Lee was the first at St. John's to win the following awards:

-- 2 Time All American

-- 2 Time Washington Post First Team All Met

-- 2 Time Gatorade Player of the Year

-- 3 Time First Team All WCAC

Obviously, Lee was recruited by some of the top programs in the country. But he was sold on College Park and more importantly, the Terps coaching staff.

The MLB Draft is this week, and it will be interesting to see which local high school and college players will be chosen. It should be a good week for the DMV area no doubt. TTBob
