HERSHEY, Pa. -- With all of the attrition going on within the Maryland football program, many are wondering what position the coaches have targeted for Ty Johnson (Fort Hill/Cumberland, Md.). The top running back in the state of Maryland last year has been projected as a defensive back, slot receiver and running back. On June 18, at the Big 33 Football Classic, practice, Johnson talked about his role in College Park, Md., when he gets to campus on June 21.
In the Big 33 game, June 20, Johnson will start out as a safety and kick returner but could see time as a slot receiver. Check out what he had to say about his experience in Hershey this week.
