Merritt Has Officials In Mind, UMD In Play

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Archbishop Carroll (D.C.) offensive lineman Richard Merritt hasn't been able to venture out during his senior season, but he knows of three official visits he'll be taking after the campaign ends: UCLA, Virginia Tech and Arizona.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Archbishop Carroll (D.C.) offensive lineman Richard Merritt hasn't been able to venture out during his senior season, but he knows of three official visits he'll be taking after the campaign ends: UCLA, Virginia Tech and Arizona. Others in contention for Merritt's final two officials Florida, Florida State, Maryland and possibly more. Merritt talked up the hometown Terps and said he has a great relationship with UMD's interim head coach Mike Locksley. He will likely decide on a college at the Under Armour All-American Game or Signing Day.
