Confusion reigns for PA QB

On the verge of taking his first two visits, Conestoga Valley (PA) quarterback Jordan Steffy is just as confused as any time in his recruitment. However, the excitement is starting to build.

I am going to Michigan State this weekend and Purdue next weekend, says the 6-foot-1, 194 pounder. I am sure that I will take one to Virginia Tech, Maryland, and Clemson.

Maryland, Virginia Tech, and Michigan State are all up really high on my list.

With the same three teams atop his list for quite some time, Steffy says that no one team is really making a move to stand out.

That is the problem. I am getting scared that nobody is starting to stand out. When a team gets a quarterback commitment that helps a little bit, but I have mixed feelings about it. Virginia Tech took a quarterback and that makes it ten times harder. That kid they took is a really good quarterback.

While all three teams are in a good situation now, could Jordan have committed by now if there were not a quarterback already in the fold for this season?

It is hard to say because I really like Maryland and Michigan State. I dont think I would have committed, but they could be out in the lead.

So until one team stands out, Steffy will have to rely on his visits to get a grip on the spiraling recruiting battles around him to find out where he belongs.

On the season, Conestoga Valley is 5-0 on the season and Steffy has 970 yards and 12 passing touchdowns.
