Cotton sets up official
"Maryland, NC State, Clemson, and Wake Forest are my favorites," says the 6-foot-4, 215 pounder who claims offers from all four. "I also have one visit set up with Clemson (1/9)."
With four area schools on his list, the closest one is currently in the lead.
"I would probably say Wake is in the lead. I just think they're recruiting the hardest and they are the only school I have visited. I've been to Wake to plenty of games because they are just around the corner from me."
Cotton will take his first non-Wake Forest visit in November.
"I'm headed, on November 8th, to NC State for an unofficial visit. That will be my last game I'll go to, probably before the season ends."
However, Cotton does not want to count out the other two schools as they both have qualities that could help in their recruitment of him.
"Maryland was the first team that offered me a scholarship, plus I like their style of play. It is really aggressive and strong.
"I met (Clemson) coach Mike O'Cain at the D-1 camp at Charlotte, and I like him. He's a cool guy."
Cotton has had a good season at Glenn after transferring from T.W. Andrews, and has been named to the Shrine Bowl team in December.
