Two on top for PA OL

Bishop McDevitt (PA) offensive lineman Jaimie Thomas is a quick riser in recruiting, with many top teams after his services. Currently he has narrowed his list to a lucky five schools.

"Recruiting is going pretty good. I narrowed it down to Tennessee, Maryland, North Carolina, NC State, and Virginia," says the 6-foot-4, 320 pounder. "I have an official visit tenatively set up with Maryland (12/5), but I may take the SAT that weekend so it could get pushed back. I have one set up with Tennessee (12/12), and one with North Carolina (1/9)."

The current word around Thomas is that he is favoring Maryland, but he says that is not the case.

"It is a tight run between them and Tennessee. I really like all of the schools."

The season for Bishop McDevitt is already over, and Thomas is starting to practice for other games as well.

"We're done now with the season, and I am practicing for the East/West all-star game. I hope I will be selected for the Big 33 (PA/OH All-Star game) over the summer. That is what I have worked to be in."

Thomas plans to take all five visits before he commits.
