ACC-Leading Maryland Travels To Florida State

Maryland (No. 2 AP, No. 2 USA Today/ESPN) travels to Florida State to take on the Seminoles Wednesday night. Tipoff between the Terps and Seminoles is 9 p.m., in a game televised regionally by Raycom-Jefferson Pilot Sports.

Maryland coming off a last second win over a strong Wake Forest team rides a 10 game winning streak into Leon County Civic Center. Florida State is 11-14 overall and 4-10 in the ACC following an 87-78 loss at Clemson last Saturday. Dispite strong outings the Seminoles have lost seven of their last eight games.

Maryland enters Wednesday's matchup winning 11 of the last 12 meetings against Florida State, including four straight victories in Tallahassee on their home court. Although Florida State has fallen to the bottom of the ACC standings, they have managed to knock then number one Duke on their home floor last month. Look for Maryland to come out focused and take care of business as the Terps have their eyes set upon their first ACC regular season title since 1980.
