The Charm City Challenge consists of two games – Suburban All-Stars against City All-Stars in the preliminary game at 6:30 PM with the U.S. All-Stars taking on Baltimore All-Stars at 8:15 PM. Tickets for the Charm City Challenge are available by calling 410-605-9381.
Three Future Terps to Play Charm City Challenge
Future Terps participating on the U.S. All-Star Team include John Gilchrist, Chris McCray and Nik Kaner-Medley. Gilchrist (Salem H.S., Virginia Beach, VA) was named Associated Press Player of the Year in Virginia as a junior. This year he is averaging 26.1 points, 7.2 assists and 6.6 rebounds per game. McCray (Fairmont Heights, Capital Heights, MD), an All-Met Washington Post selection, averaged 26.8 points this season while Kaner-Medley (Deering H.S., Portland ME) is averaging 34.3 points per game and set a Deering single-game record with 51 points against South Portland.
