Taylor Watson (2007) – Watson is a rising senior whose stock is rising as well. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound tight end/defensive end has been offered by the Terps, along with Temple, UConn and Akron. Watson has good speed for his size (4.6-4.7 40-yard dash) and could play some running back/fullback. He’s also played guard and kicker at Gwynn Park.
Watson was one of the top players at the MSL Combine in Pittsburgh this spring. He’s fully qualified.
Courtney Prince (2007) – Prince, a 6-4, 270-pound defensive end appears to be a Virginia Tech lean. He also has offers from Syracuse, Purdue and Temple. The Terps have shown some level of interest but have not offered, Hayes said.
“He’s pretty much passed them at this point, in terms of when they were sophomores,” Hayes said.
Impressively, Randolph started on the offensive line as a freshman. College recruiters have already caught wind of his talent, and it’s safe to assume he’ll be highly sought in the same way Jefferson and Taylor were.
