Jennings to Re-open Recruitment?

Terrence Jennings shocked a lot of folks when he committed to Maryland this summer. Now, it seems, the question is whether or not that commitment will hold true.

Jennings, an explosive 6-foot-10 power forward-center from Sacramento by way of Mt. Zion Academy (N.C.) has re-opened his recruitment, Mt. Zion coach Tony Fozard said.

"He wants to take some visits to some other schools and see some other options," Fozard said of Jennings, the No. 2-ranked post-grad player in the nation.
"That's what's in his heart. I don't think there was a falling out [with Maryland], he just wants to see some more options ... I don't know what it was. Hey, that's Terrence, he's in his own world," Fozard said.

Among the schools Jennings is looking into are Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Louisville, Cal and Memphis, Fozard said. He also said he might check out a few other ACC schools, though Duke and North Carolina aren't feasible options.

Asked if Jennings might end up sticking to his Maryland pledge, Fozard said: "Well ... there's still a chance." and will keep you updated...
