Turtle Sports Report as able to catch up with Adrian Coxson (6'2, 187 pounds, 4.48 40yrd dash), a wide receiver from City College High School in Baltimore, MD. Coxson was on hand Wednesday night to watch the Terps take on the Duke Blue Devils.

How was the Maryland-Duke game?

It was really good. The atmosphere was a lot of fun and I really liked all of the excitement.

What have you been doing since the end of football season?

Well I ran indoor track and now that it's over, I will be getting my body ready for some combines and camps.

How is the recruiting process going?

It has been really exciting. I enjoy all of the attention

Which schools have offered you so far?

Penn State, Maryland, UConn, Pittsburgh, and Boston College.

How have your experiences with Maryland been so far?

I like Maryland a lot, they really have a lot to offer.

Do you have any plans to attend any camps or combines?

Yea, March 7th I am going up to Penn State for their Junior Day, March 31st I am doing a camp at M&T Bank Stadium. I want to try to go to some Nike combines. I might try and get to a camp in Florida. Pretty much anything to try and get more exposure.

Are there any schools that you have not heard from that you are interested in?

Florida and Alabama (because they run the spread)

What are the important factors in looking for a school?

First and foremost I want a school with good academics. I plan on majoring in Sports Management or Sports Medicine. I also want a school in which I fit the system. I want to know what percentage of the time they run and what percent they pass. What type of offense do they run.

What were your favorite teams growing up?

Florida, Penn State, Ohio State

What can you tell fans about Adrian Coxson as a football player?

I stay very humble. I let my actions do the talking. You find that a lot of corner backs like to talk trash, but I don't get into it with them. I love having the ball in my hands.

Coxson's GPA is 3.1 and he is taking the SAT's shortly. Turtle Sports Report wants to thank Adrian for taking the time to answer a few of our questions and we look forward to keeping in touch with him.
