TSR Interviews 2010 OLB prospect Garner

A SCOUT.com three-star outside linebacker, Manessah Garner was on hand Sunday at M & T Bank to do battle with some of the best 2010 prospects on the East Coast. He took a moment during the combine and spoke with TSR's Kenny Gartner.

How's your offseason going?

It's going very good; everything is going well. I'm training and everything for next season.

What schools have contacted you?

University of Maryland, Minnesota, Pitt, Toledo, those colleges right there.

Are there any colleges that are high or low on your list?

Right now, I'm still feeling myself out, stuff like which university I fit in the best. I'm still in the process of doing that right now.

What football style are you looking for?

Honestly, I like the 4-2-5, I like the 4-3. Mainly defenses that allow me not only to get into the run stopping but allow me to play coverage and use my athleticism in coverage.

How did you do today so far?

I think I did decent, so far I only did broad jump and I think i could have done better. I did a 9.9, I definitely could have done better in that.

Any other goals for the rest of today that you're looking at?

Just to improve every time I come out, just definitely improve and get better.

TSR wants to thank Manessah Garner for taking the time to speak with us.
