Local Prospect Talks Recruiting

The recruiting process does not always go the way recruits wish it would. Such is the case with Milford Mill junior Isaiah Brown. Brown has yet to receive any offers, yet is hearing from a lot of coaches

Baltimore prospect Isaiah Brown(Milford Mill) has yet to receive any offers, but he is happy with the recruiting process and has been hearing from some schools and hopes to hear from Maryland soon.

"I would love if they did; it's always been my dream to stay close to home," Brown said. "It would give my family a chance to see most of my games."

Brown is listed as a linebacker, but he plays multiple positions, including fullback, defensive end, and tight end. As for what position he'll play in college, Brown is open to playing anywhere on the field.

"Most schools are recruiting me as a linebacker, but I'll play whatever position helps the team," Brown said. On the offensive side of the ball, Brown wishes to go to a school that runs a spread with some power-I, because he believes he can play running back, and on the defensive side, he just wants one thing.

"Hopefully they blitz a lot, like my head coach Reggie White," Brown said.

Brown hopes to receive some offers when he attends camps this summer, such as Syracuse, Maryland, and Towson, but as for his eventual commitment, Brown was unwilling to disclose his plans.

"I might commit early or want until National Signing Day; who knows."
