"The team is very young," said Monroe. "They just need a little more time. They are trying hard each week and that is good to see. I think they lead the ACC in sacks or are close. Once my class gets on campus and they get this year behind them and grow from the experience I think we will be doing good."
Monroe will be visiting Maryland for his official on December 11th. If he could get on campus to start playing sooner he would. "My school doesn't allow early graduation. It would be great if they did I can't wait to get there. I talk to the coaches all the time. They want me to build my strength up but stay around 280 lbs. and keep my speed. I will be playing nose guard there."
Monroe says most schools have backed off. "When my coach says that a school has asked about me I just tell him that I'm a solid commitment to the Terps."
