No matter what their record is Boston College is one of the most respected and toughest match ups in the ACC. Al Skinner always has his Eagles ready, especially on their home floor, so expect a tough test for the Terps.. Both teams need this game badly and it should be another tough ACC game.

Unlike previous Al Skinner teams, this Boston College team, lacks that big time scorer that they have had in the past with the likes of Troy Bell, Craig Smith, Jared Dudley and Tyrese Rice. Joe Trapani leads the Eagles in scoring but he is not the kind of player that carry them on his back for an extended period of games. That being said, he is more then capable of lighting up the Terps defense if they are not careful. Reggie Jackson and Corey Raji are also capable of scoring, Terps fans know this all too well when Jackson lit them up last season, and if they are scoring it will be a long day for the Terps. Al Skinner is a master game planer and great coach, couple that with his team's desperation and playing on their home floor, they will be a tough out for the Terps.

The Terps lost a hearbreaker against Wake Forest but it is hard to complain about their performance. They showed a lot of heart to be able to come back from down seven points in a hostile environment late in the game. Greivis Vasquez had a season high 30 points and single handedly kept the Terps in the game. Poor execution down the stretch was responsible for the loss against Wake. Jordan Williams and Vasquez missed three straight free throws late that could have salted the game away and Vasquez, Mosley and Gregory all had good looks to win the game in regulation and overtime. The Terps came up on the short end of the stick but fans can be happy with their performance. Boston College does not have the talent of Wake so if the Terps play like they did Tuesday, they should be able to leave Chestnut Hill with a win.

This is a must win game for both teams as neither wants to fall further behind in the ACC. Both teams consider this to be a game they can and should win and both teams run the flex offense. Williams and Skinner are two of the best coaches in the country and they will have their teams prepared. Ultimately, the Terps have no business losing this game. Boston College has lost to the likes of Harvard, Maine and Rhode Island and Northern Iowa at home this season so they are definitely vulnerable at Conte Forum. This game comes down to if the Terps can bury the Eagles early. A slow start by the Terps allowing the Eagles to hang around and possibly lead, is dangerous and could result in a loss. The Terps are too talented to lose this game and they will somewhat comfortably. Terps 79 BC 67.
