One thing about Oak Hill, we have so many games you have to forget and move on. We played Dudley, one of the best teams in North Carolina. It was weird because it had a lot of connections to the ACC. One way it was connected to the ACC is they had P.J. Hairston, one of the top players in 2011 and he committed to North Carolina.
Another way it was is the game was at the Greensboro Colosseum where the ACC tournament is. Just to let Maryland fans know, I haven't lost a game there yet and I don't plan to in the future. Then Roy Williams, current coach of North Carolina, was there, Marcus Ginyard who plays for UNC was there. Nolan Smith who plays for duke but also went to Oak Hill and is like my big brother came with his teammates Andre Dawkins and Seth Curry.
But back to the game, we won by about 20. I had 15pts and 11ast. Then the next day we got the week started also Maryland killed Longwood. It seemed like a long week of practice and on Friday, the last day of practice before we went to West Va for our game, I got kneed in the hip. It was a bruised hip and I wasn't sure I was going to play. Saturday we played Columbia from Ga at West Va University. We went to the West Va vs Ohio State game. It was a really good game, a match up of guards Devin Ebanks and De'Shaun Butler vs David Lighty and Evan Turner. Those are the games as a player you want to play in. West Va ended up winning, Then I got to watch Maryland play NC State. The Comcast Center looked so crazy on tv. I wish I could have been there in person. Maryland won and Wake Forest beat UVA, so Maryland is now tied for 1st in the ACC. Then we played a late game, I played but my hip was really bothering me. I only had 5pts n 8ast but I locked up the teams best player in the 2nd half. We got the win and now play Wednseday at home. I'm going to take the next few days to rest up so I can be ready to play. Maryland plays on Tuesday on ESPNU vs Miami, everyone tune in, you know ill be watching!!!!
