Yet another football prospect came away impressed by the intensity with which Maryland practices. Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ) running back Karell Bostick visited the Terps last week in one of their practices preparing for the spring game.
"It was just an unofficial visit, just a practice. I talked to Coach Sollazzo and Coach Donovan. They were just showing me how things ran on a typical practice day. They were getting ready for their spring scrimmage," Bostick said. "I was really impressed with the intensity. Everyone seemed to bring it every play and no one was letting up. I liked the way the coaches were staying on the players."
The 5'9" 190 pound junior running back hasn't been offered by Maryland yet. However, that might change come summer time. "I don't have any offers yet, but Coach Sollazzo is supposed to be coming up to my school in the coming weeks and I think I might go to their one-day camp," where an offer might be made.
No other schools have offered Bostick either, although many have shown interest. "Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Temple, and Purdue mainly. None of them have offered but they have shown a lot of interest. They want me to come to their one-day camps because they want to see me in person."
So far, Bostick has been too busy to check out other schools. "I've been to a Pittsburgh practice and that's about it. I haven't been able to get around lately."
