Wilds' Has Good First Visit to College Park

2011 running back recruit came up for the Spring game and enjoyed his first trip to College Park.

2011 running back recruit Brandon Wilds ventured north to College Park for the annual Red/White Spring game on Saturday April 24th. Wilds has an offer from Maryland and his visit Saturday was the first time he had ever been to the University. Here are his thoughts on his visit to College Park:

“I pretty much enjoyed the whole trip to Maryland. It was my first time up there. I went up there with my dad, coach and teammate. We also went to go see Justin Anderson, which is an old team mate of mine. They have a nice campus and good facilities. The visit to Maryland was pretty much exactly what I thought it would be. Coach Seamonson & coach Donovan like me a lot. They said that I'm the only "big back" that they have offered so far. Knowing that and seeing that they don't have a lot of depth at running back will be a key factor in my decision.”- Brandon Wilds

Certainly the Terps coaching staff and Terps fans have to be happy with his thoughts about the Maryland Football program as a whole. His initial visit to College Park was a success and Maryland is firmly in the discussion of where he wants to play his college football.

Maybe stopping at DP Dough and eating their delicious Buffer Zone would have been the deciding factor, but I am sure buying him one would have been an NCAA violation.

Hopefully we see Brandon Wilds in a Terps uniform come Spring 2011.
