Upson Talks About Visit to Maryland

2011 Watkins Mills standout talks to TSR about his recent visit to College Park.

Watkins Mill standout, Daniel Upson, is earning major interested from many of the top programs in the country. “I have heard from Maryland, Clemson, West Virginia, and Penn State. “ The Wide Receiver runs 4.5 40-yard dash and recently visited Maryland and TSR was able to get his thoughts on his vist.

“I thought Maryland was great. I saw the spring practice game. I have talked to the offensive coordinator and wide receiver coach. The wide receiver coach said he really likes me, my size is good, and I have a lot of potential to be a good Maryland player. The offensive coach told me I am a good player overall and thinks I can contribute to Maryland football.”

“I have followed Maryland a little bit for most of my life, and Maryland is at the top of my list at the moment. He is looking to the Engineering program at Maryland. The summer should be very important for Upson, and if he performs well than the offers will be rolling in.
