Fulse Ranks Maryland High

2011 Fort Meade prospect Brandon Fulse has the Terps high on his recruiting list.

Maryland ranks high on the list of Fort Meade High School (Fla.) TE/DE Brandon Fulse, but according to him, the school hasn’t contacted him in awhile.

The four-star 2011 recruit has earned offers from at least 19 colleges, including elite ones like Florida and Alabama. Fulse highlighted these two schools, along with Florida State, Miami, Clemson and South Carolina, as colleges whose coaches he has good relationships with.

In order for me to commit to Maryland, their recruiters would have to “at least talk to me,” Fulse said. “I haven’t heard anything from the school yet.”

According to Fulse, no particular schools stand out. He said he’d prefer to play offense wherever he commits, but is still “open” to playing defense.

Fulse will enter the next level with a solid skill set, as a 6-foot-4, 247-pounder who ran a 4.8-second 40-yard dash and jumped a 26-inch vertical. “I can move very well for my size,” Fulse said. His speed and size will help him be successful in college.

Fulse’s personality might help him thrive at the next level as well. “I work hard, I try to be a leader,” Fulse said. “I’ll do anything for the team.”

One of his personal goals for his last season of high school football is to catch 30 passes, which he hopes will help Fort Meade win the Florida State Championship, according to him.

Fulse said his favorite thing about playing football is facing rivals.
