Humphries has received offers from Maryland, LSU, Notre Dame, and Ohio State among other schools. So far he has made trips to Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Duke for visits. Right now he says he does not have any favorites as he still has a lot of options to consider.
While Maryland remains in the mix for Humphries, he says he has not been in much contact with the Terrapins since they offered him a scholarship. Humphries has personal connections in the state of Maryland, as a few family members live there. He understands that the school's football program is on a new path. "They're at a rebuilding stage, but it's going in a good direction," he said.
Humphries believes the biggest strength in his game is his athleticism, and would like to improve on his run blocking abilities in his final two seasons at Mallard Creek. The 6'5", 265 lb tackle has attended camps sponsored by Nike and the University of Tennessee this offseason. "The different coaches there taught me a lot, working to improve my stance and footwork."
