Southwest DeKalb (Ga.) forward Shaq Goodwin, along with three other recruits, is on an official visit to the University of Memphis that starts tonight at Memphis Madness.

"I'm ready to see what Memphis is all about," Goodwin said. "I'm going to be out there with my man Dino (Oak Hill wing and Memphis commit Damien Wilson), so it should be lots of fun."

Goodwin, who is considering Memphis, UCLA, Georgia, Arizona and Florida, will be joined by a host of other recruit. Jarnell Stokes, Tony Parker, and Wilson join him as official visitors.

Rick Ross, despite having what was reported to be a seizure on a flight headed for Memphis, is scheduled to perform, an act Goodwin said he's excited about.

"They did a good job booking the entertainment," Goodwin said. "Joshua (Pastner), (Jack) Murphy and Damon Stoudamire do a good job."

Goodwin said his favorite Ross song is "Pandemonium." He's almost sure to experience it tonight at FedExForum.
