Trinity Christian Academy quarterback Paxton Lynch is a prospect that's seen his stock soar in recent weeks.

One of the schools that's shown interest in Lynch is the University of Memphis. Offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey had an in-home visit with Lynch on Tuesday, where both parties finalized an official visit this weekend.

The 6-foot-5 quarterback admitted that he doesn't know much about Memphis, but going by what he heard from Dickey, he's intrigued.

"It sounds real good, what they're starting to do over there," Lynch said. "Getting Justin Fuente, who coached Andy Dalton -- it would be great to play for him."

Memphis has not yet offered Lynch, but he said he expects to receive one before he leaves campus. He currently has offers from Florida Atlantic and Florida Tech.

He has also gauged interest from Florida. He said his father spoke with the Florida staff on Wednesday, but the Gators have not extended an off yet.

Lynch said if he feels Memphis is the right place for him, he'll commit.

"I'm just looking for a great fit and a place that can get me to the next level," Lynch said. "I think Memphis can do that."
