After 2013 Edmond Memorial (Edmond, Okla.) guard Jordan Woodard took an unofficial visit to Memphis for the Xavier game, TigerAuthority.com caught up with him for a Q&A about his time on campus.

TigerAuthority: What did you think of the Xavier-Memphis game? (Memphis won, 72-68, in dramatic fashion.)
Jordan Woodard: "It was a good game. Both teams were evenly-matched, which is why it was such a good game. I was glad Memphis pulled it out."

TA: What were your impressions of the crowd and atmosphere?
JW: "It was probably the best crowd I've ever seen. To fill up an NBA arena like that, it was crazy."

TA: Did you do anything other than go to the game on your visit?
JW: "I got to talk to the coaches and after the game we just drove back to Oklahoma."

TA: What did your parents think of the visit?
JW: "They liked it a lot. I talked to them about the atmosphere and they liked it. They know how presitigous it is and they liked that. The coaches talked to them about the academic side and they liked it better. We wish we could've planned it to see the campus and everything."

TA: So did the visit meet your expectations?
JW: "From talking to (Booker T. Washington) guard Juwan (Parker), I had high expectations and it met those. I was pleased with how it went down."
