This weekend ended up being big for the city of Memphis and especially big for the University of Memphis College Basketball program.
A big AAU Tournament held in Memphis brought in talent from all over the country, allowing several high school stars time to take unofficial visits to the Memphis campus this past weekend.
"I liked what I saw," Austin said. "I got a chance to visit with their coaches, they are impressive."
"Right now I'm keeping my options open," Austin said. "It makes me feel good that I'm the only point guard that Memphis has offered so far in the 2014 Class. It means a lot to me."
Austin got a chance to see the Memphis practice facility and got a chance to talk to the Tiger's coaching staff.
"They are great coaches," Austin said. "I like Coach (Josh) Pastner a lot. He shared with me his expectations for his program. He is really a nice guy and seems to be a really good coach."
