Snow College Update

Snow College has traditionally been one of the nation's top junior college programs and 2012 is no diferent. The Badgers are currently 10-1, ranked #4 in the NJCAA and playing in a bowl game against ASA on Dec. 1st.

With the team's success comes individual success and multiple players have earned division-one offers. FoxSportsNext caught up with Snow head coach Tyler Hughes to confirm some of these offer.

Snow has arguably the top DT tandem in the country with Ofa Hautau and Siale Hautau manning both tackle spots.

Ofa (6-2 290) recently was named the WSFL Defensive Player of the Year after making 37 tackles and 5 sacks. Hughes says, "He has offers from Utah, Utah State, Hawaii and Miami of Ohio."

Siale (6-1 320) made 17 tackles and 3 sacks and Hughes says he is committed to Oregon State.

Snow has been great on offense in 2012, scoring almost 50 points per game. Running back Breon Allen (5-8 180) is one of the nation's leading rushers, compiling 1,609 yards and 19 TDs this year. Hughes says he has been offered by Boise State.

Allen was named the WSFL Offensive Player of the Year.

Wide receiver Damond Powell ranks as one of the top receivers in the NJCAA, catching 38 passes for 1,081 yards and 13 TDs. Hughes says Ohio University has offered him.

Powell (5-11 175) was named 1st team All-WSFL.

Offensive tackle Justin Manu (6-5 295) was also a 1st team selection and Hughes says he has offers from Washington State, Memphis, Youngstown State and Lamar.
