Injury Analysis

The University of Miami released its official injury report and so let's take a closer look at what it means for the Canes this week.

The Hurricanes will be without starting quarterback Jacory Harris. He has been ruled out for tomorrow's game. How long he'll be out remains in question. True freshman Stephen Morris will start the game in his place. Spencer Whipple will be his backup, as A.J. Highsmith's return this week remains questionable.

Starting running back Damien Berry has been ruled out for Saturday's game. Randy Shannon says Berry is simply too banged up to play. Freshman Lamar Miller will start in his place and you can expect Mike James and Graig Cooper to see an increase in carries this week as well.

Senior offensive lineman Joel Figueroa, who has missed the last four games with an injury, had surgery and is expected to miss the rest of the season. His playing days at Miami are seemingly over since he's already used his redshirt. True freshman Seantrel Henderson will start again at right tackle tomorrow.

Defensive tackles Josh Holmes and Curtis Porter are both out for tomorrow's game as well. Holmes has missed two of the last three while Porter's been out since the Ohio State game and is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. Look for Luther Robinson to play a bigger role again as the backup to starters Marcus Forston and Micanor Regis. End Allen Bailey could also see action inside.
