Well, it's an honor. It's an honor to be in a league with those guys. Graig Cooper has been here for a great amount of time, he has done some great things while he's been here. Damien Berry has done some great things and Lamar Miller does great things as well. So, it's just an honor to be a part.
On when he finds out that it's going to be his series to play:
Coach Whipple will have certain plays and certain things set up. Whenver the coach calls me I just go. It's kinda like you never know, everybody stays warm on the sidelines, because you never know when you are going to go.
On Pat Hill:
Pat does a great job. He gets the backers and gets them out of the way. I can tell you how great of a job he does. Me experiencing it last year, I really understand the road he takes and the things he does to get prepared for the game.
On it Pat Hill's position not being a glorious one:
Yeah, it an inglorious role. It is, it is. But it is very very much needed.
On whether he has seen someone have as much fun as Pat Hill being a blocker and hitting people:
I never seen someone like him. He loves contact. He does a great job with what he does. I am so happy for him, it don't make sense.
On Virginia Tech:
Virginia Tech has a great defense and we are going to prepare to play them just like we would for anyone else. It's the most important one because it's the next one, and I just can't wait to play.
On how thankful he is over the new and improved offensive line:
I am very thankful. They do a great job. I can't complain one bit. All we need to do is get guys out of the way and they do a great job of it. They have been great since day one. They are just getting better, and smarter, and stronger. This was going to happen anyways.
On the younger running backs:
Coach Shannon does a great job of getting guys in and getting guys to understand what we are trying to do here. I can't wait. I'm going to take care of this year, get ready for next year, and the years coming in.
On the importance of the V-Tech game:
The game is very important. We gonna win today at practice, we are going to win on Wednesday, we are going to win on Thursday. We are going to prepare ourselves everyday to get ready for Saturday. Right now I am just going to worry about practice today and when I get to the game I am going to worry about that.
On memories from playing them last year:
Memories I don't really want to think about. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I can't wait to play them.
On the weather last year and whether he has ever seen anything like that:
Not really. It was cold with a mixture of rain. It was just different. But that is all the game of football.
On what Stephen Morris is like in the huddle and his growth:
Stephen is very calm. He knows what he has to do. He studies film. In the huddle, his demeanor is up tempo. He's 'Come on guys let's go!' He talks to people on the sideline. He is just a great quarterback and he is doing a great job replacing Jacory.
On what he says to Jacory now:
Same thing. Jacory is still around a lot and joking, messing with guys. It's nothing different.
On whether they say anything to him to help him keep his confidence:
Na, Jacory doesn't need any help with his confidence. His confidence is up there, and he is just fine.
On whether he feels bad for him:
Na, he is a football player. He has an unfortunate injury. I leave that to Coach Shannon to talk to him about that. But no I don't feel bad for him at all.
On how much he has done physically since being injured:
He does stuff every now and then. I just don't even worry about it. I don't see it and just go about my business.
On what Morris is like in the huddle:
He just comes in and gets the job done. He kids on the sideline some but thats about it. He is just a boy, I can't really explain it.
On the amount of rushes last week and whether it gets them pumped up:
It does. But last week is last week and we will try to do better this week.
