National DT recruit likes Miami

Erial (NJ) Timber Creek defensive tackle Greg Webb has offers from major college programs all over the country -- Miami, Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State, Rutgers, Penn State, and more. Read on for the latest.

While the New Jersey native does not claim a top five at the moment, he spoke a little about one school that stands out.

"I like Miami," Webb said. "It has a great tradition. Coach Golden did a lot of good things at Temple. He turned the whole program around. He's doing the same thing at Miami, making it another powerhouse soon."

Webb, who plans to visit Miami during the summer, spoke about the impact that the coaches' histories could have on his decision.

"Al Golden is a Penn State guy and Coach D used to coach at Villanova, so it'd be a good situation, because these are all guys from the area." In the meantime, Webb (6-3/290) is focused on the spring and summer and closing out his high school career.

"For my team, I hope we get another state championship and I'm just excited to get back on the field."

Webb plans to create a top five prior to the season and commit on National Signing Day.
