Robinson Finishes Strong

Miami (Fla.) Carol City standout tight end Akeem Robinson continued to dominate the opposition today in the third day of the camp.

"I just did what I could," he said. "Coach C.J. said he was impressed again so I was pretty happy about that."

Robinson said he had a chance to meet with coach Larry Coker following the camp.

"I haven't gotten that [offer] yet from them," he said. "I don't know if it'll come later or what. I just have to do my best. Coach Coker was real nice. He's a great guy."

The talented tight end said there was a funny scene at the end of the camp.

"I got called up for winning the Most Outstanding Effort Award at the end of the camp," he said. "Since I was just sitting there my hands starting cramping up. Whenever I went to shake Coach Coker's hand, I could barely move it. It wasn't no dance or anything like that [laughing] ... I was in some pain though!"
