Ryan Williams will lead the quarterback group. He's had a solid spring, taking over most of the first team reps with Stephen Morris missing most of spring with a back injury. Morris returned to practice earlier this week but won't be playing in the game tomorrow. Gray Crow has earned a slight edge over Preston Dewey for the number two spot going into tomorrow.
Mike James and Eduardo Clements are neck and neck for the starting job, Al Golden said earlier this week. It will be James, however, on the first team offense tomorrow. Dallas Crawford has done well as the third running back and has also seen action at the wide receiver position. Maurice Hagens is the only healthy scholarship fullback and he's even been limited lately with an injury. Gionni Paul has seen action at fullback this spring but will run with the green team linebackers tomorrow.
Rashawn Scott has been the star of the spring and will join Phillip Dorsett as the starting receivers tomorrow. Allen Hurns has been limited and won't participate. The second team receivers will be Kendal Thompkins and Davon Johnson.
The top two tight ends, Asante Cleveland and Clive Walford, will play with Team Orange. That suggests the coaches feel they're very close together and can almost be considered 1A and 1B at this point. Dyron Dye, Billy Sanders, Cory White, and David Perry will run the Team Green.
The starting offensive line has been the same ever since Jon Feliciano went down with an injury -- Malcolm Bunche, Jermaine Johnson, Shane McDermott, Brandon Linder, and Seantrel Henderson from left to right. The second unit will feature Ereck Flowers, Jeremy Lewis, Jared Wheeler, Ben Jones, and Taylor Gadbois. Hunter Wells will also work in with the twos.
