Canes Get Their QB

Getting an elite level quarterback in the 2013 recruiting class was a big priority for Miami and they just picked up a commitment from the nation's most heavily recruited available prospect.

Kevin Olsen committed to Miami just moments ago, he told Scout's Brian Dohn.

At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Olsen is a four-star prospect on Scout and had offers from major programs all over the country. He helped lead Wayne Hills (NJ) High to a state championship last season by throwing for over 1,800 yards, 20 touchdowns, and just six interceptions.

Olsen, the younger brother of former Miami tight end Greg Olsen, had narrowed his list last week to Miami, Wisconsin, and Auburn before pulling the trigger for the Hurricanes today.

He is the only quarterback in the 2013 class with a known offer from the Hurricanes so it's obviously a big get for Miami.
