Analysis: J.P. Vonashek is one of the most heavily recruited offensive line prospects in the state of Georgia. The named Georgia, Florida, and Alabama as his top three schools back in March and then nearly committed to UGA last month. The Hurricanes (along with Florida State, Tennessee, and a few others) have since offered and he's decided to back off those commitment plans. Vonashek still favors Georgia but says he wants to visit Miami in the near future. It seems like even if he has a great trip to Miami, and even though the Canes are in need of some offensive linemen in the 2013 class, the Georgia Bulldogs will be tough to beat. He's already been there for a few games, got an early offer from them, and took an unofficial visit there recently. He's never even been to Miami. Still, he's a player to keep an eye on since he's a heavily recruited player at a need position who plans on visiting on his own dime at some point.
