Analysis: Josh McNeil is one of the nation's premier tight end prospects out of North Carolina. At 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, he grew up playing basketball and has played just one year on the gridiron but had over 60 catches and has a big time skill set to play the position. Miami offered him very early in the process and he took a visit to see UM during the spring and now he has a return visit set up for June 28th. NC State is the only in-state school on his current list of favorites so the chances of getting him out of his home state for college are pretty good at this point. The Hurricanes are still in need of another tight end in this class and McNeil seems like someone who sits at the very top of the recruiting board. The fact that he's taking a second visit to UM on his own dime indicates that his interest is very high. We'll know more about his interest in Miami after that visit but the premier tight end prospect is very much in the picture to become Miami's second tight end in the 2013 class, joining 4-star Standish Dobard.
