Analysis: Joey Ivie landed an offer from Miami about a month ago and since then he's landed about 15 more. At 6-foot4 and 270 pounds, Ivie is a very talented two-way lineman from Pasco High near Tampa. He's being recruited as a defensive lineman and says he plans to visit Miami over the summer. He grew up following Florida because of a family connection there but maintains that he's still open, even though he has an offer from the Gators. It's going to be tough to tell what Miami's chances are going to be until he takes a visit here over the summer. He's definitely a player to keep an eye on, especially at a need position along the defensive front.
