Analysis: Maquedius Bain, who goes by "Quay", is one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the entire state. At 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, Bain was very active on the field as a junior. He has an excellent combination of size and quickness. He made an early commitment to Florida State, before his junior season even finished at The University School. Since his junior season ended, he's taken multiple unofficial visits to Miami and has an offer from the Canes. He says he's still open with the process and while he's still committed to the Noles and therefore likely has them at the top, Miami is right there competing every step of the way. The Canes will likely sign a few defensive tackles in the 2013 class and there's still a pretty good chance Bain will be one of them.
FSU commit has been to UM a few times
