Analysis: Denzel Franklin is quickly emerging as one of the top defensive back prospects in the state of Georgia for the 2014 class. At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, the Atlanta area standout plays all over the field at various positions but likely projects as a cornerback or safety in college. He has some BCS offers already and says Miami came through over the spring to check him out. The Canes have started recruiting him and he plans to come to one of the camps over the next few weeks. If he does that, it'll be a great chance for him to earn an early offer but it also would indicate that he has a lot of interest in one day becoming a Hurricane. He's certainly someone to watch, especially if he ends up making the trip down later this month.
