Analysis: Jayron Kearse is one of the state's top two-way prospects. At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, he's a gifted wide receiver prospect and could also be a talented safety. He plays mostly quarterback at South Fort Myers High. Kearse committed to Auburn last summer but backed off and switched his pledge to Miami following one of the Junior Day events back in January. He is now telling Scout that he's opening things back up, especially after a recent visit to Clemson. He's already backed off two commitments and his senior season hasn't even started so this one will likely go down to the wire, either way. Miami is definitely in the mix but he has to be considered wide open at this stage of the recruiting process.
