Miami Prospect Profile: WR Stacy Coley

Let's take a closer look at the prospects for Miami's 2013 recruiting class. Today, we look at wide receiver Stacy Coley.

Stacy Coley -- Northeast HS (Oakland Park, Fla)

Scout Ranking: 4-star and No. 6 WR

Measurables: 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds and he ran a 4.52 at the Under Armour Combine

2011 Stats: The talented wide receiver prospect who finished his junior season with 33 catches for 556 yards and seven touchdowns.

What they're saying: "Coley has the tools to be a number one receiver on the next level. He is a very fluid wideout with speed, a quick burst off the ball, and great body control. He can be a homerun threat down the field and make a big play in space as a wideout or return man. He is still very thin and he needs to add weight and strength, but that will come in time. He can run more crisp routes as well. In the end, he can be as good as he wants to be." - Chad Simmons/Scout.com

Recruiting Status: Coley claims to be wide open and hasn't really taken many offseason visits. He says Miami and 20+ others have offered.

What he's saying about Miami: "I grew up following Florida and Miami. The two things I'm looking for in a college are to start early and to win championships. Miami is one of the schools I'm considering."

Miami angle: Coley grew up a Miami fan, lives within an hour from the campus, and has been to UM a few times (including the spring game). He's arguably the most talented wide receiver prospect in South Florida and is definitely one of the top receivers on the board to keep an eye on for the Canes.
