Thompkins: We can explode on any defense

Senior wide receiver Kendal Thompkins believes this year's offense will be able to 'explode on any offense' and is excited to get it going. Read on to see everything he's saying after four days of fall camp.

Q: Coach Golden has noticed that you have been consistent on your game. Do you feel a difference on how you're playing?
A: Yea, I do. After being here so long, you feel that all that hard work that you have put in the summer is going somewhere, and when you come out here to the field you just want to play hard.

Q: Considering the competition for QB, do you try to figure out in your head who is leading?
A: No. I think that they both have good arms and they're just out there doing their thing. They both look pretty even to me with completing passes [during fall camp].

Q: Would you say you feel more comfortable with Stephen Morris, since you have played with him before?
A: Well, yea. I feel like I know him better because I've played with him more, but I don't have a preference.

Q: How do you feel about your offensive team for this season?
A: I feel like we're going to be one of the best offenses in the nation, and I'm happy about that. I'm ready to see it happen.

Q: Do you think you think that you're going to need to play more conservative this season because of your offensive system?
A: I think we can pass the ball a lot. We have some pretty dangerous receivers. We got some new weapons this year, and I think we got it in us to explode on any defense.
