McDonald talks about Dorsett

Read on to see what Coach McDonald is saying about the recent struggles of wide receiver Phillip Dorsett.

Phillip Dorsett started the season with a lot of big plays. He was one of the nation's leading receivers after the first few weeks of the season. However, his impact has been minimal over the last couple games and wide receivers coach Geoorge McDonald talked about that.

On the mental side of drops:
Consistency is a mental thing. We just have to make sure we're doing our jobs.

On defenses taking Dorsett away:
I don't know if he's being taken away. We're calling the same plays. Sometimes the plays are there, sometimes they're not. When plays go his way, he has to make the catch.

On Dorsett bouncing back:
Dorsett has a lot of confidence in himself and we have a lot of confidence in him. He just has to go back to the fundamentals of catching the ball.

On Dorsett's recent struggles:
When I go back and watch the tape, he's not catching the ball with the same technique as he was. Sometimes you try doing more than you're supposed to do.

On Robert Lockhart:
Robert's a big guy. We're trying to get him involved. We're doing whatever we can to win games and Robert can help us do that.
